Kieran Stoutt
Kieran's working life has been rooted in the outdoor industry, shaped by a childhood on a Manx farm, where being outside was simply part of everyday life. That early connection with the natural world has remained the foundation of both his personal and professional journey. Over the years, he has gained a broad range of professional qualifications in the outdoor industry, alongside completing a BA (Hons) in Outdoor Leadership and, more recently, qualifying as a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner.
Much of his career has been dedicated to supporting at-risk young people through third-sector organisations, including the Children's Centre and St Christopher's, using the outdoors as a space to foster connection, build confidence, and encourage personal growth.
In recent years, his practice has expanded to explore the underlying factors that shape people's experiences, including attachment theory, developmental trauma, and the importance of non-directive spaces in the healing journey. He has gained professional accreditation in these areas, enabling him to integrate this understanding into his work while remaining grounded in experiential outdoor practice.
Throughout his career, Kieran has remained anchored by his connection with the natural world. It continues to guide his practice, shaping the way he creates safe, restorative spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the living world around them.
